Posted on by beltzer

Users of any version of Symantec’s pcAnywhere software are advised to stop using this software immediately due to a security breach with the product. A white paper published by Symantec on Wednesday explained that blueprints for the software were stolen in 2006 and users of both current and past version of pcAnywhere are at risk for attack.

For more information on this security risk, including links to the full white paper and the customer advisory published by Symantec, please see Symantec: Stop using pcAnywhere, right now on the Sophos Naked Security blog.
