New Mac Malware Threats

Posted on by beltzer

Two recent Mac malware threats, one involving Microsoft Office software and the other involving the Java application, reinforce the fact that, in today’s world, Mac users need to be just as aware of computing security concerns as Windows users.

All Mac users should be running antivirus software, such as Sophos Endpoint Security 7.3 for Mac, and should regularly check for and install security updates. For additional information on keeping your Mac secure, see ITS’s Maintaining Mac OS X Security documentation.
