FCC’s Smartphone Security Checker

Posted on by mbordas

Smartphones provide access to a great many services, from email to social networking to online banking.  With all the personal and financial information accessible by modern smartphones, mobile security is more important now than ever.

To help smartphone users protect their devices from outside threats, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently released a smartphone security checker website.  This site provides security checklists tailored to your device’s specific operating system (Android, Apple iOS, BlackBerry, or Windows Phone), as well as a general checklist.

Visit the FCC Smartphone Security Checker site to learn more about securing your mobile device.
