Apple iOS Update

Posted on by mbordas

Apple yesterday released an update to its mobile operating system, iOS 6.1.3.  The update addresses a recently discovered vulnerability that could allow someone to bypass an iPhone or iPad’s passcode, and access data such as contact lists and voicemails.  You can update your phone or tablet to the latest version directly through the “Software Update” feature in your iOS device’s settings menu.

This update provides a good reminder of the importance of enabling your mobile devices’ security features to protect your personal information should your devices ever be lost or stolen.
