Apple Ends Support for QuickTime for Windows

Apple has ended support for QuickTime 7 for Windows, which means that the company will no longer provide security updates for the Windows version of QuickTime 7. Without these updates, the software will become increasingly susceptible to vulnerabilities as time goes on. In fact, security researchers have already identified new vulnerabilities in QuickTime 7 for Windows, which will remain unpatched.

If you are a Windows user and have QuickTime 7 for Windows installed on your computer, security researchers recommend that you uninstall the program as soon as possible. Please note that this does not apply to Mac users; QuickTime for Mac will continue to receive security updates.
