Apple Includes “Important Security Update” in iOS 9.3.5

Posted on by mechling

Apple released an important security update with iOS 9.3.5, which fixes three zero-day vulnerabilities in the iOS system. (Zero-day vulnerabilities are those that exploit previously unknown vulnerabilities and for which there is no available patch.) A hacker could use these vulnerabilities, collectively known as “Trident” by the security firm Lookout, to access a user’s personal data.

ITS recommends that you install the new update as soon as possible in order to protect your devices and your data from malicious code and unauthorized access. You can install the new update by navigating to your phone or tablet’s settings.
