Apple Includes “Important Security Update” in iOS 9.3.5

Posted on by mechling

Apple released an important security update with iOS 9.3.5, which fixes three zero-day vulnerabilities in the iOS system. (Zero-day vulnerabilities are those that exploit previously unknown vulnerabilities and for which there is no available patch.) A hacker could use these¬†vulnerabilities, collectively known as “Trident” by the security firm Lookout, to access a user’s personal data.

ITS recommends that you install the new update as soon as possible¬†in order to protect your devices and your data from malicious code and unauthorized access. You can install the new update by navigating to your phone or tablet’s settings.
