Apple OSX and Safari Updates

Apple released security updates for the Safari browser and currently supported versions of its operating system, OSX 10.8, 10.7, and 10.6.  (Users of OSX 10.5 and earlier should consider upgrading to a more recent version to continue receiving security updates.) These updates address a number of vulnerabilities that could allow remote code execution.

The updates are available through the Software Update feature in OSX or from the Apple downloads page.  For more information on these and other updates, see Apple’s security updates page.

ITS recommends that you keep your computers and other devices up to date with the latest security fixes in order to protect your machines and your data from malicious code and unauthorized access.
