Microsoft has released its security update bulletin for January 2018. These updates include fixes for 56 security vulnerabilities and 3 special security advisories including fixes for the Meltdown/Spectre chip vulnerability, an Adobe Flash patch, and a security update for Office applications.

Apple has released 3 security bulletins this week including updates for macOS High Sierra 10.13.2, Safari 11.0.2, and iOS 11.2.2 that address the Spectre chip vulnerability.

Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Flash Player Desktop (Windows, Mac, and Linux), Adobe Flash Player for Google Chrome, and Adobe Flash Player for Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11 that address an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to sensitive data exposure.
